Biosphere Solar

Solar energy promises a bright future of clean, renewable power — yet it carries a shadow few are talking about. The world is unprepared for the wave of solar e-waste coming in the next few decades, largely because contemporary solar panels cannot be repaired or fully recycled. That is where Biosphere Solar comes in: designing fair, circular solar panels built to be taken apart at the end of their life. Their steward-owned, mission-driven company is committed to keeping this innovation open source, so the entire planet can benefit.

I have been creating their visual material since 2022, across YouTube videos, crowdfunding campaigns, and product commercials. When Biosphere relocated to China, the collaboration continued across oceans. My work has directly contributed to the company's growth — helping them secure funding, recruit talent, and bring the wider open source community into contact with their innovation.
